Ew... rules. Yeah, you know every game has to have some kind of rules. This page lists the rules for Role-Playing here as well as rules you need to keep in order to remain a member of Ethereal Realms.

Main Rules

  1. Always have a location in your tag line.

  2. Absultely NO pictures over 300x300 pixels. Many of us can shrink pics and should be willing to help you. And Also, do not steal someone elses pic. And if you take it off of an artists page, please ask that Artist for permission to use it.

  3. Only those that the Council Deems Official should be played with, Non-Official Characters are to be Ignored, so they will not ruin the game and plots that are currently going on. If the New person is a good RPer, the Council will make them official.

  4. ONLY Wheel of Time Characters should be played within the room. That way we do not have to face problems such as "Does a Shield of spirit stop telepathy?" Or stupid stuff like that.

  5. You MUST Stick to the books. We feel it is extremely important we keep our characters constant with the book. So, We do not want to see things like.. oh.. Elayne running off with Mat, Min sleeping with an Aiel (Besides Rand), or any Shadowspawn turning to the light.

  6. All decisions on Characters are left up to the Council. We will decide if your Character will be suitable for the room. For more info on the Council, please go to the Council page.

Chatting Rules

Some of these might be listed in the Guide to RPing Online.

Roleplaying Rules

The Wheel of Time is a series of fantasy books (published by TOR Books) written and © to Robert Jordan. We do not, in any way, profit in this purely leisurely pasttime, and act merely as advertisement for what is truly one of the best fantasy series out there.
